Marc R. Rosen, MD, FACS

A New York native, Dr. Marc Rosen completed his undergraduate degree at Syracuse University and received his medical degree from The State University of New York Medical University. Dr. Rosen completed his surgical internship and otolaryngology residency at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.

Following his training, Dr. Rosen was appointed a faculty position at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania where he remained until 1991. Since 1991, Dr. Rosen has served on the faculty of Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University and currently holds the dual rank of Associate Professor of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and Associate Professor of Neurological Surgery. Dr. Rosen also serves as Vice Chairman for Clinical Affairs of the Department of Otolaryngology at Jefferson and Co-Director of the Jefferson Center for Minimally Invasive Cranial Base Surgery and Endoscopic Neurosurgery, a center which he co-founded and has developed into an internationally recognized program which is among the busiest such programs on the East Coast.

An active member of several otolaryngology and skull base societies, Dr. Rosen is also an oral examiner for the American Board of Otolaryngology.

Dr. Rosen has lectured nationally and internationally and has authored or coauthored numerous publications on advances in endoscopic skull base surgery and the novel approaches that he and his neurosurgery counterpart have developed during their affiliation at Jefferson.
